Breta ("the App") is developed by Tupungato Studios. It is a job notebook for tradespeople and sole traders: jobs, customers, photos, hours and materials. This policy explains what happens to the information you enter. In short: it stays on your device and in your own cloud storage, and we have no server that collects it.
We run no account or sign-in service, and we hold no database of your jobs, customers or photos. We cannot see your content, and we never sell or share it. The App contains no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs, and does not ask for permission to track you across apps.
Everything you enter is stored locally on the device. If your platform's cloud sync is switched on, the data syncs through your own private cloud account - on Apple devices, your private iCloud container - so it is available across your devices. That sync happens between you and your platform provider; we have no access to it. With cloud sync off, the App works entirely locally.
Breta lets you record your customers' names, phone numbers, email addresses and addresses. That information is about other people rather than about you, and it is worth being clear where responsibility sits: you are the data controller for it, not us. It is processed on your device and synced only to your own cloud account. We never receive it, and no one else can reach it through us.
The App asks for camera, microphone and photo library access so you can attach photos and videos to a job. The files are stored in the App's own area on the device. The microphone is used only while recording video. You can decline or revoke any of these permissions in your system settings; the App keeps working, without that feature.
If you turn on calendar sync, the App asks for calendar access and adds your scheduled jobs to the calendar on your device. Notifications are scheduled locally on the device and do not travel through any server of ours - we run no push service. Both are optional and can be switched off at any time.
Breta Pro is sold as a subscription or a one-time purchase. Payment is handled entirely by the app store you bought through. We never see card numbers, payment details or billing addresses.
To know whether you have Pro, we use RevenueCat, a service that keeps track of purchase status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier generated on your device, together with the purchase and renewal history for this product. That identifier is not linked to your name, your email, or anything you have entered in the App, and your jobs, customers and photos are never sent there. This is the one part of Breta where anything leaves your device for a third party, so we say so plainly rather than burying it.
If you send feedback from Settings, we transmit your message along with the app name, the app version and your operating system version, so we know which build a problem refers to. Nothing else is attached. If you type your email into the message so we can reply, we receive it - that is your choice, not something the App does on its own.
Under the GDPR and equivalent laws you have the right to access, correct, export and erase your data. Because the data sits with you, you exercise those rights directly in the App rather than asking us. You can edit anything at any time, export everything through Backup & restore, and delete a job, a customer, or the whole App. Deleting removes the data from the device; cloud copies are removed by your platform. Since we hold no copy of your content, there is also nothing on our side to request access to.
Breta is a work tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
