Doser ("the App") is a medication reminder developed by Tupungato Studios. It keeps track of the medicines you take, rings when a dose is due and records what you took. This policy explains what happens to that information. In short: your medicines and dose history stay on your device. There is no account, and we have no server that collects them.
We run no account or sign-in service and hold no database of your medicines, schedules or dose history. We cannot see them, and we never sell or share them. The App contains no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not ask for permission to track you across apps.
The names of your medicines, their doses and schedules, your supply counts and the record of which doses you took, skipped or missed are health information, and we treat them that way: they are processed only on your device. They are never sent to us or to any third party by the App.
Everything you enter is stored locally on your device, in a space shared only between the App and its own widgets. Doser does not sync to any cloud service. If you back up your device (for example with iCloud Backup or to a computer), the App's data is included in that backup like any other app's; that backup is between you and your platform provider, and we have no access to it. Deleting the App deletes its data from the device.
Reminders are designed to be seen at a glance, so the name of a medicine can appear wherever the App shows a dose: alarms, notifications, Home and Lock Screen widgets, the Live Activity and the Dynamic Island. Anyone who can see your screen can see those names. You control this with your device's own settings, such as notification previews and which widgets you place.
The App asks for permission to schedule alarms and, as a backup, notifications. Both are scheduled locally on the device and do not travel through any server of ours - we run no push service. If you log a dose with Siri, Shortcuts or a widget, that action runs on your device. You can withdraw these permissions at any time in your system settings.
The doctor report is a PDF created on your device from the medicines and period you choose. Results cards for a finished course are images created the same way, and you can hide the medicine's name before sharing. Nothing is sent anywhere until you choose where to send it from the share sheet; from then on it is handled by the app or person you shared it with.
Doser Pro is sold as a subscription or a one-time purchase. Payment is handled entirely by the app store you bought through. We never see card numbers, payment details or billing addresses.
To know whether you have Pro, we use RevenueCat, a service that keeps track of purchase status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier generated on your device, together with the purchase and renewal history for Doser Pro. That identifier is not linked to your name, your email or anything you have entered in the App, and your medicines and dose history are never sent there. This is the one part of Doser where anything leaves your device for a third party, so we say so plainly.
If you send feedback from Settings, we receive your message along with the app name, the app version and your operating system version, so we know which build a problem refers to. Nothing else is attached - no medicines, no dose history. If you type your email into the message so we can reply, we receive it; that is your choice, not something the App does on its own.
Under the GDPR and equivalent laws you have the right to access, correct, export and erase your data. Because the data sits with you, you exercise those rights directly in the App: you can edit or delete any medicine and its history at any time, export your history as a doctor report, or delete the App to remove everything. Since we hold no copy of your health information, there is nothing on our side to request access to.
Doser is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. A parent or carer may use the App to manage a child's medicines; that information stays on the device in the same way as everything else.
Doser is a reminder and record-keeping tool. It does not give medical advice; always follow the instructions of your doctor or pharmacist.
