These terms are the agreement between you and Tupungato Studiosfor the Bible Quiz app ("the App"). They also serve as the End User License Agreement for copies downloaded from the Apple App Store. Your agreement is with us alone, not with Apple or Google, and we — not they — are responsible for the App and its content.
By using the App you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please delete the App.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the App on any device that you own or control, as permitted by the usage rules of the store you downloaded it from. The App is licensed to you, not sold.
You may not sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the App or its content; copy or extract the question and character content for use in another product; or reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App except to the extent the law expressly permits it despite this restriction.
The App is a set of Bible games. Every mode, every question and every topic is free, and will remain free. Purchases exist so that people who want to can support continued development; they unlock visual extras only — app themes, colour palettes, alternate app icons, per-player colours and a supporter mark — and they never unlock content.
A one-time purchase is permanent. A subscription lasts as long as it renews: it renews automatically until you cancel it, and the visual extras it unlocks end when it lapses. Payment is taken by the store you downloaded the App from, and you manage or cancel a subscription in that store's account settings, not in the App. Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy.
Scripture quotations in the App are from the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania or any associated entity. Where the App links to jw.org, that is a third-party website we do not control and are not responsible for.
We prepare the content carefully and check every quotation against its source, but we do not warrant that it is free of error, and the App is not a substitute for reading the Bible itself.
We are solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the App. Apple and Google have no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services for it. You can reach us at tupungatostudios@gmail.com or through the feedback form inside the App.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are solely responsible for any warranty, express or implied by law, to the extent it is not effectively disclaimed. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty and you downloaded it from the Apple App Store, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
We are responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the App or your possession and use of it, including product liability claims, any claim that the App fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection or similar legislation. Apple and Google are not responsible for such claims.
If a third party claims that the App infringes their intellectual property rights, we are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a United States Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to comply with all applicable third-party terms when using the App.
Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms for copies of the App obtained through the Apple App Store, and upon your acceptance of these terms Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
These terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you use the App as a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
