Impostor: Secret Word Game ("the App") is developed by Tupungato Studios. We run no servers, no accounts and no database, so we collect nothing about you ourselves and cannot identify you. The App has no sign-up and no login, and the game is fully playable offline.
Two third parties process limited data on our behalf, described below. From version 1.3 the free App shows banner advertising; earlier versions show none. Buying Impostor Pro removes all advertising permanently.
Banner ads are supplied by Google AdMob. To serve and measure them, Google processes information from your device: depending on your consent and device settings, a device advertising identifier, general device information, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and which ads were shown. We never receive any of it, only aggregate anonymous reporting. We restrict ads in the App to a general audience content rating, the most restrictive available. Google's handling is governed by its own policy at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your choices:buy Impostor Pro to remove ads entirely; in the EEA, UK and Switzerland the App asks for consent before showing personalised ads and you can change or withdraw it at any time in the App's Settings; and on any device you can limit ad tracking system-wide (iOS: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. Android: Settings › Privacy › Ads). Declining leaves the App fully working, with non-personalised ads.
Payment is handled entirely by the store you downloaded the App from (Apple App Store or Google Play). We never see your payment information. To deliver and restore your purchase across reinstalls, our payments provider RevenueCat processes your purchase status and a device identifier on our behalf. It is not linked to your identity and is not used for advertising.
Your game preferences (language, theme, game settings) are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.
The App is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
